Renu lives a poor lifestyle with her family. Shattered and devastated with the deaths of her father and brother, Renu decides to take up the mantle of feeding her family, hiding her dad's death from her ill and fragile mother, and goes along pretending that her father is still alive. Things brighten up when a homeless young man, Anand, enters her life, both fall in love with each other and want to get married.
